This ethereal painting evokes the mystery of an ancient woodland covered with moss and lichen. An almost ghostlike Barn Owl is perched among deep mauve, forest greens and bright pops of peach oil paint that appear to jump out of the canvas.
This painting has been created using a combination of mixed media including oil paint, acrylic paint, collage, pastel, graphite, gold leaf, and image transfers.
