This soothing painting features Sky’s illustration of a Ground Pangolin comfortably nestled in the safety of luscious green foliage. There are eight different species of pangolin in the world all of which are threatened by extinction predominantly due to trafficking. They are poached for their stunning scales and meat. Pangolins defend themselves by shielding into a ball, however this sadly makes them very easy to be taken by poachers.
This painting has been created using a combination of mixed media including oil paint, acrylic paint, collage, pastel, graphite, copper leaf, and image transfers.
