African Elephant Art Print

This art print features an incredibly detailed illustration of an African Elephant peacefully making his way across a grassy plain. Sky’s delicate use of line and shade picks up every incredible wrinkle and fold that make elephants so distinguishable. Sky spends hours meticulously drawing her original illustrations by hand using just pencil on paper before scanning them and printing her final designs digitally.

About Sky Siouki Giclée Prints

All of Sky’s prints are giclée meaning they are superior quality, portraying the fine details of the artwork so perfectly it almost looks as good as the original. A giclée print is also known for its longevity so your piece of Sky Siouki art will remain defined and unfaded no matter how long it is on the wall for.

  • Sky prints all of her giclée prints herself in house.
  • Digitally printed with archival quality pigment inks made to never fade.
  • Printed onto heavyweight acid-free 310gsm fine art etching rag.
  • All art prints come hand signed by Sky and are packaged with a sturdy backboard and wrapped in clear compostable film. A small card with the design name and information about the print is also included.

All designs are completely unique to Sky Siouki.

African Elephant

  • Part of Sky Siouki’s Endangered collection.
  • African Elephants are a critically endangered species having declined in numbers by 86% in the last 31 years. Both African and Asian elephants are under severe threat of extinction due to poaching and habitat loss.
  • An estimated 47 African Elephants are killed every day for their ivory tusks. Poaching has caused elephants to evolve so that not all elephants even grow tusks anymore.

FAQ’s

  • What size frame should I get?

Sky recommends framing behind glass to keep the print fully protected from dust and moisture. Sky’s A4 prints look especially good float mounted on an off white or pale colour mount-board in a 30cm x 40cm frame. Alternatively you can skip the mount and slip it straight into an A4 size frame.

  • What if the print arrives damaged?

Sky packages all orders herself in sturdy recyclable mailers to prevent this from happening and it hardly ever does. However, in the unlikely event your order does arrive damaged, please email Sky photographs clearly showing the damage and packaging and Sky will promptly send a replacement at no additional cost to you.

  • How is Sky Siouki different to other nature artists?

Whilst most nature artists hopefully care a lot about the planet, Sky goes above and beyond to ensure her art not only raises awareness, but makes a measurable, real impact on conservation and supporting the survival of the wildlife she illustrates. Sky also draws her wildlife illustrations in meticulous detail ensuring they are as true to life as possible so as to do the beauty of each species justice.
