Description
This is an original artwork of a woman and her dog curled up within a woodland refuge, sheltering from the rain. This design was inspired by the many times I have sought solace in the woods, taking a moment to breath, refind myself and let go of the weight of the outside world.
This monoprinted artwork on paper began as a loose and watery abstract painting incorporating pastel marks and smudges. Once dry the illustration was monoprinted on top.
This artwork would look stunning framed in a glass floating frame.
Please be aware the materials used may smudge if not handled carefully.
Acrylic, ink and pastel on 200gsm recycled paper.
Approx. 20cm x 29cm
Signed, dated and titled on the back.
