This autumnal painting took shape very gradually and evolved over time. It is one of those pieces that needs to be sat with and discovered slowly, revealing its soft depth and nuances as the light changes. Its texture is smooth and absorbing, contrasted by sparks of metallic copper and bright dashes of rich orange and pastel peach.
Created using a combination of mixed media including oil paint, acrylic paint, collage, pastel, graphite and copper leaf.
