Dung Beetles Art Print
This dung beetle print features a two beautifully illustrated Flightless Dung Beetles working tirelessly together to gather a ball of dung. Sky’s detailed drawing portrays the shiny black armour and spiky legs of these fascinating beetles perfectly. Sky spends hours meticulously drawing her original illustrations by hand using just pencil on paper before scanning them and printing her final designs digitally.
Part of Sky Siouki’s Endangered collection. A portion of the profits made from all prints in this series will be donated to World Land Trust to help support the survival of these beautiful insects. Dung beetles do a significant amount of work to help combat climate change. By living off dung they help to recycle waste, control parasites, disperse seeds, cycle nutrients in the soil and break down harmful gas emissions. This beetle print is part of the Endangered collection. Several different species of dung beetle are endangered because of factors such as lack of tree shade and poisoning from drugs in the dung of livestock.
