Description
This is an original monoprint of a woman draped over a crescent moon. She hangs limply as she falls into a deep deep sleep, exhausted from busy days and life’s persistent demands. Supported by the moon she accepts its calm energy and submits to some much needed rest.
This monoprinted artwork on paper began as a loose and watery abstract painting incorporating pastel marks and smudges. Once dry the illustration was monoprinted on top.
This artwork would look stunning framed in a glass floating frame.

Acrylic, ink and pastel on 200gsm recycled paper.

Signed, dated and titled on the back.
