This idea of this painting came to Sky as somewhat of a vision. Filled with a desire to paint a rich pool of warm peach hues you feel you could dive into, it very naturally evolved and embodies exactly that.
This painting is very hard to appreciate without seeing it in life, there is an absorbing warmth and light about it that completely captivates the viewer.
Nuanced with small botanical sprigs, a sun drenched meadow is suggested but this abstract piece is very open to interpretation.
The painting has been created using a combination of mixed media including oil paint, acrylic paint, image transfers, collage, pastel, graphite and copper leaf.
